“ Will definitely return I have been going to this restaurant since 2017 and I must say that the quality of food still amazing! The portion sizes have changed a bit and I found the curries somewhat watery in consistency but the flavors as always were outstanding. ”
“ Bangkok Thai Restaurant in Fort Myers has become a cherished spot for us, consistently delivering exceptional sushi and authentic Thai cuisine that keeps us coming back for more. Each dish reflects a dedication to quality and flavor, making it a standout in the area. However, the ambiance leaves room for improvement. The current lighting setup strikes an awkward balance—neither bright enough to create a lively atmosphere nor dim enough to offer a cozy, romantic setting. This lack of definitive ambiance detracts slightly from the overall dining experience. In summary, while Bangkok Thai Restaurant excels in culinary offerings, enhancing the interior lighting and atmosphere could significantly elevate the dining experience to match the excellence of their cuisine. ”
“ We savored a great meal with massaman shrimp curry, tofu pad Thai, edamame, and Panang curry. We decided that the cold sake is not our favorite and hot sake fits the bill. Great ambiance with a cool Thai vibe. We chose a booth over the tables and sushi bar seating Accessible restroom with grab bars and 5ft x 5 ft space. Accessible venue for table seating and entrance/ exit to restaurant. Accessible van parking with curb cuts in free parking lot shared with other pjs es, some open during the day and some open day and evening hours ”
“ Went here for lunch and it never disappoints. True hidden gem, the location might be a little difficult to get to, but once you arrive you feel welcomed and cozy. The decor is welcoming and pleasant to look at and be in, the food is fantastic been here several times already within the past year or so and the quality has not changed, spot on authentic Thai dishes, and generous servings considering the restaurant is a bit pricier than your average takeout. Service is phenomenal no complaints on that, waitresses there are kind, and friendly. Definitely recommend the pad see u or thai beef noodle soup, it won't miss! If you are in the fort Myers area, give this place a try! ”
“ Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, clean establishment, can't say enough good things about this place. Everything was fresh and delicious and I can't wait to try more dishes. Definitely recommend. ”
“ My 1st time here after hearing about this restaurant from friend of mine. Every dishes are outstanding!! 10/10 ”
“ Everything our party of 4 had at lunch was excellent. We had green papaya salad to share as an appetizer, and 1 had Tom yung soup. We ordered medium heat and it was fantastic. The soup seemed slightly hotter. For westerners, if you can really handle heat order hot. Otherwise stick with medium at most. A red curry will always be hotter than massaman which is mild. Our party had pineapple duck curry (dinner item), massaman curry w steamed tofu (dinner), hot & spicy basil fried rice w chicken (medium heat level) and drunken noodles w beef. You can also order from the dinner menu during lunch. The lunch menu offers slightly smaller plates. It’s still more than most can eat. Everything also came with a ginger side salad- incredible! We couldn’t believe the crispiness and flavor of the duck in the pineapple red curry it was outrageously good (our first time trying this dish). Everything was superb, fresh and homemade. The Thai iced coffee wasn’t too sweet but will “put hair on your chest” as my grandma liked to say about strong coffee. Their menu doesn’t advertise alcohol drinks but we knew from google maps that they offer a variety of wine, Thai beer, sake, and drinks, just ask. They also have a nice looking sushi menu. Service too was excellent! We tried walking in on a Thursday night without reservations and couldn’t get in. Be sure to make reservations even for lunch- they have limited hours! Gendered bathroom is singular, large and very clean. If we lived close enough we’d go weekly. Best Thai we’ve had in the USA since moving back. Looking forward to our next trip!! ”
“ My mom and I had a lovely ladies’ night at Bangkok Thai in Fort Myers, and it was such a pleasant surprise—especially for my mom, who swears she hates anything spicy (she doesn’t even like black pepper!). She had never tried Thai food before, so we were a little nervous, but the wait staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They offered thoughtful recommendations that made the experience approachable and enjoyable for her. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Fried Spring Rolls, Pad See-U, Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, Basil Leaf with Shrimp, and a Curry dish. Every single item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad See-U were especially hits with my mom, who couldn’t believe how much she loved the seasoning and textures. The restaurant itself is quite small and intimate, which adds to its charm—but it does fill up quickly, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go during peak hours. I’m so grateful for the staff’s attentiveness—they helped create such a warm, welcoming experience. Bangkok Thai turned my mom into a Thai food fan in one night! Highly recommend for anyone—especially if you’re new to Thai cuisine or need gentle guidance with the spice level. ”
